What the Skirmish Mats app is
Skirmish Mats is an internal business reporting application built and used by the team behind skirmish-mats.com, the online store for neoprene gaming mats for tabletop skirmish games. This page describes what the app does and how it uses data from Google services.
What the app does
The app connects to two Google APIs on behalf of our own business accounts:
- Google Analytics: it reads website traffic reports for skirmish-mats.com, such as sessions, users, and traffic channels, so we can see how people find the store.
- Google Ads: it reads advertising performance reports for our own ad account, such as spend, clicks, and conversions, so we can see whether our ads pay for themselves.
The app combines these reports with our store's sales data into a weekly internal business summary read by the company's two founders.
How it uses Google user data
The app accesses only our own company's Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, using read-only permissions. It does not access any customer accounts or customer personal data. It does not create, modify, or delete anything in any Google account. Report data is used only for internal business analysis and is never sold or shared with third parties.
Who can use it
Only the two founders of Skirmish Mats. The app is not available to customers or the public.
